The 18-year-old Hannah Montana star revealed that she is still friends with Hemsworth during an interview on an Aussie radio show to promote her Gypsy Heart tour.
Speaking on The Kyle & Jackie O Show, Cyrus – who split from her Aussie ex last year – said that although she loves “Australian boys”, she won't be looking for a new boyfriend when she starts her tour Down Under in June.
She said: 'I don't want to cross out the Australian boys, but I may or may not be single. I love Australian boys, though, obviously.
'Liam and I are very close, I'm not going to comment too much, but I'm definitely not coming to Australia single.'
