He told GQ that he wishes the programme, which stars duaghter Miley, had never happened:
'I hate to say it, but yes, I do. I'd take it back in a second,' said Billy Ray, 49, who is currently divorcing Miley's mother, Tish.
Miley, 18, has allegedly been involved in incidents including smoking psychedelic drugs, sexy leaked pictures, pole-dancing at the Teen Choice Awards and sporting barely-there outfits.
Billy Ray admitted that he should have been stricter with his daugher, but accused her 'handlers' of over-promoting his teen daughter.
He told the men’s magazine: 'Every time the train went off the track, her people would put [the blame on] me. I took it because I'm her daddy.
'I'm scared for her.. She's got a lot of people around her that are putting her in a great deal of danger. I want to get her sheltered from the storm.'
Miley’s representative was unavailable for comment.
