Miley Cyrus is desperate to get back on the stage.
The star appeared at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas over the weekend where she spoke about her desire to perform. Miley has waited two years to release a record but hopes that by next year she will have an album ready to launch to her fans.
"I'm excited for next year when hopefully my record's done and people are hearing my tunes and digging it," Miley told ET Online. "I've waited two years to put out a record, so I really want that first thing that I say to be something really important."
Miley has been making headlines for her partying ways, TV guest star roles on sitcoms including Two and a Half Men and for her romance with fiancé Hunger Games actor Liam Hemsworth most recently.
The actress-and-singer explained is now ready to make a name for herself with her music. The 19-year- old gushed about how she has been busy concentrating on her album behind the scenes to Billboard backstage at the festival. The star promised it will be something pretty special when she finally allows it to be released.
"I wanna make a sick record. I've been in so many sessions and just kind of bunkering down and working really hard and perfecting everything. I've never really had time to do that, to kind of have my record kind of 'done' and then sit there and make it until it's perfect," Miley explained. "So, it's been really, really fun. This whole year that's all I've really dedicated life to. I just want to make sure it's exactly what I want first."
