In case you were wondering what everyone was searching for on the web in 2010, here's your answer: Miley Cyrus and Kim Kardashian. Each of the ladies top celebrity queries on two different search engines. For those keeping a running tally, Google will release their top searches later this month.
While the BP oil spill and the World Cup were the #1 and #2 searched terms on Yahoo, Miley Cyrus comes in at #3, making her their most-searched celebrity. She joins other female celebrities like Britney Spears, Megan Fox, Paris Hilton and Jessica Simpson as other ladies who have been the most-searched celebrities on the site. In 2009, Michael Jackson was the #1 search.
Kardashian follows close behind at #4, with Lady Gaga coming in at #5, Megan Fox at #7, Justin Bieber at #8 and Britney Spears at #10. The iPhone takes the spot at #6, and "American Idol" is sandwiched between Bieber and Spears at #9.
Elsewhere on the Internet, Kardashian rules supreme as Bing's #1 most-searched person and top overall search. She steals the honor from Jackson, who owned the site's searches last year. He fell to #11 this year.
