Miley Cyrus 'mending relationship'

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are "doing better", it has been reported.

Rumours have been rife that the young couple's engagement is on the rocks and it's even been claimed Liam cheated on his fiancée with Mad Men star January Jones.

Despite being spotted without her ring on several occasions, Miley has been flashing the bling over the past few weeks.

Now a source has told People the pair may have put their wedding on the backburner but are keen to patch things up.

"They still need to work on their relationship, but after they decided to postpone the wedding, they are doing better. They feel less stress and less pressure now. Miley can focus on her music," the insider told the magazine.

According to the source, Miley and Liam continue to live together but are not talking wedding plans for now.

The 20-year-old former Disney star is working hard on her new tracks and her latest single We Can't Stop will debut on June 3.

"Just wrapping. 6 am. (sic)" the busy star tweeted.

Miley certainly has plenty of reasons to be showing off her gorgeous engagement ring.

Liam, 23, proposed to Miley last year with a beautiful piece of jewellery that features an antique diamond.

"It was hand-cut around 1880 or 1890 and it's unique and in its original form," celebrity jeweller Neil Lane said.

"At that time no two diamonds were alike, as they were all hand-cut, so it's fascinating to look at because it hasn't been re-cut to look contemporary over the years. I find that really romantic."
