The former Hannah Montana star's parents, Tish and Billy Ray Cyrus, filed for divorce last month after more than 17 years together. The divorce papers listed 'irreconcilable differences' as the cause of the split.
And now the See You Again singer is planning a rather low-key celebration for her coming of age on November 23, which will involve her family spending some quality time with each other.
'My family and I need time to all be together,' she told MTV News.
'I'm not going to go crazy, just have a fun party, and then maybe take a vacation with my family.
According to Us Weekly, Achy Breaky Heart singer Billy Ray filed for divorce amid allegations of an affair between his wife and rocker Bret Michaels.
