Miley Cyrus ‘so smitten with beau’

Miley Cyrus' boyfriend reportedly has her "wrapped around his little finger".

The 22-year-old singer began dating Patrick Schwarzenegger last year, with claims they'd already been seeing each other in secret when their relationship hit the headlines in November.

Over the weekend they attended Clive Davis' iconic pre-Grammys Gala in Los Angeles together, and it's claimed things could be hotting up between them.

"Miley is really into Patrick," an insider told People. "He has her wrapped around his finger, but it goes both ways. Patrick would do anything at the drop of a dime for Miley and she loves the idea of that."

The pair haven't attended many red carpet events together, so their weekend date was a big deal. They watched stars like Iggy Azalea and Sam Smith perform and apparently couldn't get enough of each other. After the party they headed to nightclub Henry's where they reportedly couldn't keep their hands off one another and smooched for most of the night.

The couple were like any other young pair in love, spending much of the evening giggling and whispering to each other.

Apparently Miley has been careful not to let this romance get too serious too fast. She had a high-profile split from her then-fiancé Liam Hemsworth in 2013, which is said to have made her wary about rushing into anything.

"Miley learned her lesson the hard way the first time and is being extra cautious about this relationship," the source said. "She doesn't want to get her heart broken again."

That's something the star has admitted in the past, telling Barbara Walters shortly after the breakup that she was focused on herself rather than finding love again.

"I was so scared of ever being alone, and I think, conquering that fear, this year, was actually bigger than any other transition that I had, this entire year," she said. "I don't ever want to have to need someone again, where you feel like, without them, you can't be yourself."
