Miley Cyrus may not have gone ghetto chic like she did at the Much Music Awards earlier this year, but she certainly didn't tone down her sex appeal one bit when she graced the stage at the 2010 MTV Europe Awards in Madrid on Sunday.
Wearing a cream-colored lingerie-style leotard, Miley Cyrus performed her track "Who Owns My Heart" surrounded by female dancers in lingerie and male dancers in suits. The choreography was similar to that of her controversial clip, in which she grinds up against her dancers, male and female.
"We actually came up with this concept because I wanted it to kinda be 'Angels and Demons,' but it's not a Tom Hanks reference," Cyrus told last week. "It's [about the idea] that during this world, you're always going to have temptation; basically that's kind of the whole vibe."
While she remained fierce through much of the performance, she did flash a big smile when the performance was over.
Earlier in the night, Cyrus hit the purple carpet in a white, high-cut dress adorned by a Western cowgirl bow.
Cyrus, who told us she'll be celebrating her 18th birthday with all of her family this month, was up for two EMAs. For Best Pop, she faced off against Lady Gaga, Usher, Katy Perry and Rihanna; and for Best Female, she was up against Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Shakira and Rihanna.
The 2010 EMAs air on MTV2 on Sunday (November 7) at 9 p.m. ET, and an edited, performance-heavy version will be broadcast Friday at 9 p.m. ET on MTV.
