Miley Cyrus is reportedly trying to get fired from US TV show 'Hannah Montana' so she can focus on singing.
The 15-year-old actress is said to be so desperate to leave the hit series that shot her to fame she has been arriving late on the set, stalling production and annoying cast and crew members, according to gossip website TMZ.com.
Her father Billy Ray Cyrus, who also appears in the programme, allegedly supports her antics as he thinks she will make more money from her singing career than the Disney show.
Billy Ray has reportedly been boasting Miley will film just 12 more episodes before leaving the show. However, when furious Disney bosses learnt of his comments they are believed to have immediately called his agent and branded both him and Miley "ingrates".
Disney also insisted Miley finishes all 24 episodes in the season as planned and also decided to add six more shows to the run.
Miley's close friend Emily Osment is reportedly so upset at her co-star's behaviour she is refusing to talk to her when they are not filming. Emily's father is said to have accused Billy Ray and Miley of behaving unprofessionally, resulting in a heated argument between the two men.
