Miley Cyrus is a former Disney princess who is quickly becoming the queen of collaborations. On Tuesday, she added another one to her growing roster of features when will.i.am released his new #willpower single, "Fall Down."
The tune is a bit cheeky and very party-ready. In addition to a signature will.i.am-approved club beat, it also has unexpected moments, like a whistle and orchestral samples. The album's latest single finds the Black Eyed Peas frontman and Miley in a bit of a lyrical love affair, with a fist-pumping chorus and lyrics like, "Boy, just be my lollipop/ Let me, let me lick you up."
"Fall Down" comes just weeks after she dropped her Rasta-inspired feature on Snoop Lion's Reincarnated track, "Ashtrays and Heartbreaks." the partnership was a no-brainer, saying, "We're both going through transformation. We both love making music and doing what we do and speaking from our hearts, and it's just a great collaboration."
Proving that she's up for anything these days, she also recently partied with Tiffany Foxx and Lil' Kim in Foxx's "Twisted" video. Fox told that she fit in with her crew perfectly. "It's crazy because she's so cool. She is so cool. It felt like I have been knowing her all my life," she said. "She's real sweet. She's down-to-earth. She doesn't take herself seriously. She came [in] like 'What's up? Where is my cameo? I made up a dance for it.' Like, she was so cool."
Miley teased her fans that there's even more on the way. She wrote, "You [can't] complain you ain't got no new music! @SnoopLion #AshtraysAndHeartbreaks @iamwill #FallDown #MCSINGLECOMINGSOON" She's amped up for some of the other musical collaborations she's been working on for her forthcoming album release. She tweeted that she may soon drop a new track she worked on with producer Mike Will Made It. "Can't wait for me @MikeWiLLMadeIt sh-- to be on iTunes! Dayummmmm," she said.
For the release, she's really stepping up her collaboration game, revealing at various stages that she's hit the studio with the likes of Odd Future rapper Tyler, The Creator, Mac Miller, Snoop Dogg once again (who will appear on her first single off the album), Juicy J (who also appears on will's album), Da Internz and Pharrell Williams, among others.
