Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo watched wedding on TV

Their private island ceremony was broadcast on TLC as Nick & Vanessa’s Dream Wedding special, and the newlyweds enjoyed having the chance to watch it all back for the first time.

“[We] opened a bottle of wine and plopped down on the couch and watched it Saturday night,” Nick told AccessHollywood. “It was pretty cool. There were things I didn’t even remember happening. It was kind of neat to sit down and kind of relive it.

“Obviously it’s probably the best wedding video you could ever hope to have, something we can show the kids one day.”

Nick was the star of reality show Newlyweds with ex-wife Jessica Simpson, and insisted that that is not a route that he and Vanessa plan to go down.

“We’ve already decided that one. The thing that was appealing about this particular special is there was a clear beginning and end and it’s not going on, and so that’s the reason we were able to kind of wrap our heads around it.”
