Nicole Kidman and bike paparazzo collide in NYC

Nicole Kidman was knocked down by a photographer on a bike yesterday in New York.

The willowy actress is possibly pressing charges against photographer on bike who knocked her down on New York street according to TMZ. 

Freelance paparazzo Carl Wu allegedly hit the star while riding on a bicycle outside the Carlyle Hotel on the upper East Side.  The snapper lost control of his bike and headed right for Kidman, causing both of them to fall. Pictures posted on the New York Daily News (link below) capture the tense moments after the accident, where assistants lifted Kidman to her feet and helped her as she put her heels back before she was whisked away.

Kidman, 46, was returning to the Carlyle Hotel after attending the Calvin Klein show at New York's Fashion Week when photographer Carl Wu slammed into the starlet. Ambulance and police were called to the Caryle Hotel even though no one was really hurt.

According to a witness for TMZ, Wu didn't stop in time.

An ambulance arrived on the scene to check on the star.

TMZ reports that Wu was issued a ticket for illegally riding his bicycle on the sidewalk, but will not arrest him for anything.
