Nicole Richie keeps mum about rumoured wedding date

The 29-year-old daughter of Lionel Richie refused to comment on whether she is getting married during an interview with USA Today.

Speculation has been growing that the mum-of-two is to marry singer Joel Madden within a few days.

USA Today’s Craig Wilson asked Richie: 'So, the world wants to know when you and your fiancé… are going to get married?'

Richie said: 'They'll just have to wait and find out.'

The reality star also refused to comment on the status of her relationship with her one-time best friend and Simple Life co-star Hilton.

'I don't speak about her,' she said when asked if they are in contact with each other.

But Richie was very open about her latest venture, her new book Priceless, which is her second novel. Her first, The Truth About Diamonds, was a bestseller.

She revealed that she finds it easy to fit writing into her hectic schedule despite being a mother to toddlers – two-year-old Harlow, and Sparrow, one.

She said: 'I wake up at 5.45 and the rest of the family gets up at 7am, so I have an hour in the morning. And then I have time after 7pm at night to write and calm down.'
