Nils Lofgren gets back to his solo work

Nils Lofgren has been rather busy for the last couple of year on Bruce Springsteen's near never ending tour, but he is now ready to return to his solo career.

Lofgren recently played four shows, two in Las Vegas and one each in Scottsdale and Tucson, AZ, with Greg Varlotta in support of his superb new ten-disc career retrospective, Face the Music, and has now set a series of dates in January around the U.K.

Nils also took to his official site to thank fans for their support of his pet project:

Realizing so many of you have noticed the detail and care that went into every aspect, the story, the music, the photos and ephemera, (thanks Steve Smolen) the concept and packaging; this means so very much to us and everyone involved at Fantasy, Linda and Dick Bangham, the entire team thanks you for your keen eyes and ears and spreading the word for us.
