A Nirvana fan has paid nearly £4,000 for a private plane ride with the grunge band's former bass player Krist Novoselic.
Novoselic, who is now more occupied with his political career in Washington DC than rock music, is a keen pilot and has his own Cessna jet reports Femalefirst.co.uk.
He gave eBay bidders the chance to fly with him to raise money for political awareness campaign People for the American way.
The lucky winner paid £3,840 and will be picked up at an American west coast airport and flown to lunch at a restaurant of their choice.
