Frank Ocean of LA rap collective Odd Future has been drafted in to help Jay-Z and Kanye finish Watch The Throne.
The Jay-Z and Kanye West album Watch The Throne has been in the works for far longer than necessary.
They dropped the first song 'H.A.M.' in January and it was then that West promised the complete collaborative album would be coming out mid-year.
Now it seems the minimalist R&B star of Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All, Frank Ocean, has been drafted in to work on the record.
Ocean wrote a note on Odd Future's tumblr, ostensibly to himself five years ago, saying 'i don't wanna spoil too much for you, but.. you're on a plane right now to the east coast to work with kanye west & jay-z. it's all working out kid. you made it.'
Ocean worked on Beyonce's forthcoming 4 album and also on a new Nas album, so everything's looking peachy for the producer.
Then again, the most recent Watch The Throne release date rumour was July 4, which we can safely say won't happen either.
