One Direction have officially hit the road on their just-launched, globe-spanning Take Me Home tour. With their "One Way Or Another" topping the charts in the U.K., the fivesome are leaving England behind to take on the world.
The guys played their first two shows at London's O2 Arena on Saturday and Sunday, and they're stoked for what's to come.
"London that show was incredible last night! Like couldn't believe how crazy you guys were!" Niall Horan tweeted on Monday. "Amazing night! A great weekend of shows all round."
Liam Payne added, "Loving this tour alreadyyy! You guys who have been so far have been incredible! Thank you to everyone for coming to see itttt!"
Photos posted by fans on Twitter show off the band's funky stage design. 1D hover over fans on scaffolding and stand in front of illuminated, neon-hued brownstones. The band was also snapped performing in front of a glitzy backdrop that highlights the names of cities around the world. Another set is made up off scrapbook-like images of the heartthrobs.
For fans who couldn't make it to the opening night shows, or have yet to attend a Take Me Home tour stop, Directioners even posted a set list of the tunes the boy banders are playing during the trek. According to fans, they play a total of 21 songs, including tracks off their two albums, Up All Night and Take Me Home. The guys get Monday off and will play Glasgow on Tuesday and Wednesday, before playing dates in Europe and Mexico through June. The tour will land Stateside that month with the first show taking place in Sunnyside, Florida.
While on the road, the guys will also be filming their 3-D movie, which is being directed by Morgan Spurlock. The film hits theaters in August; however their tour has dates scheduled right through November. The European dates include opening acts Camryn and Aussie band 5 Seconds of Summer. The latter act is slated to continue on with the band through the extent of their time on the road.
