One Direction has officially rebranded itself as a four-member group.
The British boyband was originally a five-person act, but singer Zayn Malik dropped out of the ensemble last month, causing upset to millions of fans.
And on Monday, April 13 One Direction's management company, Modest Management, debuted an entirely fresh bio for the group on their website.
"One Direction are Liam Payne, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan," the first sentence of the revised online profile now reads.
The website's biography features an image of the group at the top of the entry and none of the remaining four members have a smile on their face in the photograph.
Bandmate Liam has previously spoken about how hard it is on them right now after 22-year-old Zayn decided to leave midway through touring.
"In light of recent events I think this is important to say. For the past five years now I've been part of something so special I don't think any of us really understand, something that can mean the world to people and put a smile on the face of our fans even in the darkest times," Liam wrote in a lengthy Twitter post linked to his TwitLong account. "To a lot of people it's just a bunch of silly kids in a band but to the people involved it means so much more. This last week has been some of the worst times, possibly the worst it's something we are all deeply saddened by."
