One Direction convinced a maid to record raunchy vocals on their new album.
The What Makes You Beautiful hitmakers are planning to release their third album, Where We Are, later this year.
According to UK newspaper The Sun, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne and Harry Styles were recording in a hotel when they realised they needed a new sound.
"It needed a naughty female bedroom noise so instead of using a sound effect," the outlet reports.
Apparently Harry convinced a maid working at the venue to contribute.
"We needed a, you know, a groan on one of the songs," he mused.
"So I asked a lady at the hotel to record the 'Urgghhhhh!' She was nervous at first but soon got into the swing of it."
One Direction are currently on their Take Me Home world tour.
The band played in Dallas, Texas Monday night and will continue their trek through the US and Canada through August.
The boyband will then head to Australia and New Zealand before wrapping their concerts in Melbourne on October 30.
The singers announced in the spring while touring Europe over $300,000 in ticket proceeds would be donated to charity.
"We're so proud to be supporting Stand Up To Cancer while touring the UK and Ireland. Cancer affects nearly everyone at some point in their lives so we all need to do what we can to bring forward the day when all cancers are cured," Liam told British newspaper The Mirror.
The director of Stand Up To Cancer, Claire Rowney, commended the group for their generosity and said at the time the charity was "over the moon".
