One Direction have apparently been warned to stay away from groupies.
Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Niall Horan, Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson have fast become one of the biggest boybands around and scored a BRIT Award celebrating their global success this month.
The five-some are swarmed by fans wherever they go and Zayn and Harry in particular have hit headlines with their love lives recently.
With their world tour in full swing, the boys have reportedly been warned to stay away from female fans to avoid any unwanted scandals.
"Of course they attract massive attention and have a lot of opportunity to hook up with girls, but their management really want them to be on their best behaviour," a source explained to British magazine Star.
"They've been told jokingly to keep it in their pants – but there is a serious message there, too. The last thing anyone wants is for One Direction to be accused of taking advantage of fans, or being labelled as sleazebags."
Zayn recently made news when an Australian waitress claimed the 20-year-old had cheated on his girlfriend Perrie Edwards with her.
Harry has also enjoyed some high-profile relationships with the likes of Taylor Swift and it seems the boys' management team is keen to keep gossip to a minimum.
"The guys are young and in the prime of their lives, but the feeling is that they really need to be careful," the insider continued.
"They are going to be away from home for a long time, and probably feeling homesick in strange cities. But they will be chaperoned at all times and there will be maximum security to ensure there is no funny business."
