Niall Horan has joked his boy band One Direction isn't "cool enough" to play Glastonbury.
The 21-year-old singer is part of the British pop group alongside Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson.
Niall and Louis, 23, attended the famous Glastonbury Festival last week to watch James Bay and several other indie acts perform, but it's unlikely they'll be booked for a future set at the event anytime soon.
"We're not cool enough to play at Glastonbury," Niall laughed to UK newspaper The Mirror.
One Direction is currently enjoying a short break from their On the Road Again Tour. They last performed in Helsinki, Finland on June 27 and their next concert is scheduled to take place in San Diego, California on July 9.
Niall and Louis flew by helicopter into Glastonbury, which is held in Somerset, England annually. Unfortunately their time at the event was cut short because they had to travel to Finland to play the One Direction concert last Saturday.
Even though the pair loved hanging out and relaxing while watching other artists perform at Glastonbury, they were eager to return to touring themselves.
But Niall thinks it's likely they'll spend an entire weekend partying at Glastonbury in the future.
"It's so cool, we had loads of fun," Niall noted of their brief time at the festival. "We were there for a day but we had to leave at 1am because we had a gig, but we're going back next year for sure. It's great that we get to come back home after every concert on the European tour.
"We have time to be in London a bit. But we're off to America now to start the tour there. It's exciting."
