It's almost that time of year again. The Nickelodeon's 26th Annual Kids' Choice Awards are set to take place next month, and on Wednesday, fans learned who will be competing for a coveted blimp at this year's broadcast. Taylor Swift and One Direction are among the many acts, actors and athletes competing to take home a prize when the show kicks off on March 23.
The nominees for Favorite Female Singer include Adele, Katy Perry, Pink and Swift. Swift is also in the race toward Favorite Song for "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together," facing off against Harry Styles and One Direction, who are up for "What Makes You Beautiful." Other nominees in that category are Carly Rae Jepsen's "Call Me Maybe" and Psy's "Gangnam Style."
1D is up for yet another prize for Favorite Music Group, going against Big Time Rush, Bon Jovi and Maroon 5. Justin Bieber, Bruno Mars, Blake Shelton and Usher are competing for Favorite Male Singer.
TV stars like Miranda Cosgrove ("iCarly"), Selena Gomez ("Wizards of Waverly Place"), Victoria Justice ("Victorious") and Bridgit Mendler ("Good Luck Charlie") are also up for a blimp, competing against each other in the Favorite TV Actress category. Meanwhile, Jake T. Austin ("Wizards of Waverly Place"), Lucas Cruikshank ("Marvin Marvin"), Ross Lynch ("Austin & Ally") and Carlos Pena ("Big Time Rush") are going head to head in the Favorite TV Actor world.
Elsewhere in Hollywood, Vanessa Hudgens ("Journey 2: The Mysterious Island"), Scarlett Johansson ("The Avengers"), Jennifer Lawrence ("The Hunger Games") and Kristen Stewart ("The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2") are all the femmes up for Favorite Movie Actress.
In the world of Favorite Movie Actor, Johnny Depp ("Dark Shadows), Andrew Garfield ("The Amazing Spider-Man"), Zachary Gordon ("Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days") and Will Smith ("Men in Black 3") are all nominees.
Blockbusters like "The Amazing Spider-Man," "The Avengers," "Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days" and "The Hunger Games" will see if their box office gold translates to blimp wins in the Favorite Movie category.
Fans can begin to place their votes on Valentine's Day, February 14, in all categories across all of Nick's digital platforms.
