One Direction Tease 'Pure Stupidity' In 'Kiss You' Vid!

If you couldn't gauge from the "Kiss You" video tease released last week, the guys of One Direction are just letting loose in the still-unreleased clip. The tease featured the guys goofing off in many an absurd scenario. And, if the few scenes released made you "LOL" then you are definitely in for some more fun when it drops next month.

"Pure stupidity," Louis Tomlinson described the "Kiss You" video to MTV News on Thursday night at the "X Factor" finale.

"Yes, loads of fun," Liam Payne further explained about the January 7 release. "Stupid dancing, loads of different locations and lots of fun."

Some of the set-ups include Zayn Malik and Harry Styles riding a motorcycle together, with Liam in the sidecar. Other antics include guys doing some Zoolander impressions at a photo shoot wearing ski gear, getting their Elvis on in a "Jailhouse Rock" set-up and even surfing shirtless.

"I think it's our favorite one that we've done so far," Styles said, with Tomlinson adding, "Yeah, yeah, yeah, it's great."

The video was directed by Vaughan Arnell, who also worked with the guys for their videos "Live While We're Young" and "Little Things." And when MTV News spoke to 1D about the video back in November, they promised that silliness would abound in the final cut.

"I think the whole concept behind the video is bigger than anything we've done before," Malik said. "It's a whole idea and it's kind of structured, which is a little bit different than what we've done before in like a comedy way. It's really funny. We are just having fun."

Payne added, "There were proper sets and everything for this video, and there was a lot of hard work that went into it with the crew and everything."
