One Direction have announced a special live broadcast to celebrate an "amazing three years".
The boyband - Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne - revealed in a video message today that they have big plans for November 23. That date will be known as '1D Day', with the heartthrobs eager to "give back" to their loyal supporters.
The live event will last for an impressive seven hours and will offer fans all over the world the chance to interact with the boys.
1D Day will feature a webchat, special guest appearances, sketches with members of the group and fan generated videos.
The build-up to the event kicks off today with competitions and global fan events. More information on how to get involved will be available on One Direction's official 1D Day site and Facebook pages. Over the next week, fans will be given opportunities to offer ideas and create their own videos.
Directioners have already been asked to design special products and share them by either emailing to 1DDay@onedirectionmusic.com or by tweeting with the hashtag #OneBigInvention.
The group have been hinting they were planning something big recently.
Earlier today, Niall Horan took to his Twitter to whip fans into a frenzy before the announcement.
"Guys we have something big to tell you !! get ready for 1D DAY (sic)," he wrote.
One Direction first found fame when they finished third in The X Factor UK in 2010.
