One Direction want aliens to buy their records.
The British boyband - comprising of Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Harry Styles, Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson - are releasing their second album Take Me Home on November 12.
They hope it will be a hit and in the long term the guys plan to be so successful that even life forms on other planets will take an interest.
"I think our goal for ten years down the line should be to sell a single in outer space and be the first band to do so," Niall told British newspaper The Sun.
"I want aliens to buy our music. It is worth a shot and is obtainable."
The teenage heartthrobs enjoyed success with their last album Up All Night, which topped the US album charts.
Now they are hoping their new music will do just as well in space.
"We should speak to that band 30 Seconds to Mars – they could probably help us," Niall joked.
The boys are set to perform at the MTV Video Music Awards on September 6.
They are in the running for three awards, including Best New Artist.
