Paris Hilton 'ready to wed'

Socialite Paris Hilton is ready to walk down the aisle, according to sources.

The hotel heiress is currently dating Swiss businessman Thomas Gross and insiders say she's ready to take the next step with him.

Paris, 34, took on maid of honour duties at her younger sister Nicky's wedding earlier this year (15), to banking heir James Rothschild, which supposedly got her thinking about her own big day.

"Ever since her sister, Nicky, got married, people have been asking Paris when she's going to get engaged," a source told America's Star magazine.

"Paris wants to walk down the aisle sometime in the next year. She's turning 35, and she's ready to settle down. She's even talked about being a mom. Nicky is planning to have kids soon, and Paris loves the idea of them being pregnant at the same time."

Paris' previous dating life often made the tabloids, and she's been linked to everyone from Jared Leto to Benji Madden.

While those close to her claim a wedding could be on the horizon, they're adamant Paris won't be losing her famous Hilton surname.

"No way does she want to be called Paris Gross," the source laughed.

Reflecting on Nicky's July 15 wedding, Paris dubbed the special day a fairytale.

"Seeing my sister in her wedding gown, knowing she was so happy and so in love, was amazing," she told Britain's Hello! magazine. "We all had a great time and are really happy to have a new member of the family. Nicky's wedding was definitely a fairytale. Every little detail was perfect.

"My parents have been together for 35 years, which is unusual these days. I hope we follow that tradition, as we all start to marry."
