Overview
It has been almost three years since Paul Weller released his last album, Sonic Kicks. Since then, he has kept a fairly low profile with just a few guest appearances.
On Friday, Weller released a forty second clip of some new music along with the promise that "very exciting news coming your way next Wednesday 11th February."
Paul Weller's long career has led him through both The Jam from 1976 to 1982 and Style Council from 1983 to 1989 before launching his very successful solo career in 1992. Since then, he has released eleven studio albums all of which have gone to the British top ten including four number ones.
