Pete Doherty is to perform live with Who legend Roger Daltrey.
Roger was so impressed by the Babyshambles frontman's performance at the funeral of 16-year-old Daniel Squires - who became friends with Pete after he was diagnosed with bone cancer and made it his ambition to meet the star - he has asked him to join him on stage.
The performance of classic Who tracks will be in aid of the Teenage Cancer Trust charity, of which Roger is a patron.
A source told Britain's The Sun newspaper: "Roger was really impressed and touched when Pete performed for Daniel.
"He has told Pete to choose a list of Who songs and they will perform them together. They are both really excited."
Pete previously dedicated Babyshambles songs to Daniel at shows and once even flew back from Europe to the UK to appear at a charity fundraising concert. The one-off show with Pete and Roger will take place at the Bristol Academy, UK, on January 12.
