Pete Doherty has avoided jail for burglary because he was too drunk to carry out the crime, according to reports.
The Libertines frontman was arrested after a guitar and CDs were stolen from a record shop in Regensburg, Germany in March.
Doherty has admitted being at the scene of the incident, but denied stealing the items from a store in the Bavarian City.
According to The Sun, prosecutors have dropped the charges over the incident because Doherty said he had been drinking heavily and couldn't remember what he did.
Doherty was in Regensburg shooting his debut feature film, The Confession of a Child of the Century, alongside Charlotte Gainsbourg.
