Prosecutors in Germany said yesterday that they will press charges over the incident in Regensburg, according to British newspaper The Sun.
The 32-year-old, who is already currently serving a six month jail sentence in Britain for the possession of cocaine, admitted that he smashed in the shop's window, but he couldn't remember what happened next.
Pete, who had been filming a costume drama in the town, claimed he was drunk and had no memory of it - or of stealing a record or guitar.
The items were later found abandoned in the town square.
