Pete Doherty performed a track he'd written for Amy Winehouse at his last gig for a 'long time' at London's Brixton Academy.
The singer revealed to fans at the show that he planned to disappear for a while to work on new things.
In the video, which can be watched below on Gigwise, Doherty performed a track he'd dedicated to Amy Winehouse.
Speaking to the crowd, Doherty said: "This will be the last gig in a long time because we need to go and get some new things together so this is it for a while. I want to dedicate this show to the memory of Robin Whitehead and Amy Winehouse, two good friends of mine. Here's a song I wrote for Amy."
The former Libertines singer recently paid tribute to Amy Winehouse during his headline set at the Festival Republic tent at the Reading and Leeds festival last weekend (August 27), performing a cover of her track ‘Tears Dry On Their Own’.
