Pete Doherty could be forced to pay out compensation to a Suffolk church worker who suffered brain damage when he was run over by a car driven by the singer's manager.
Chris Corder was left with "very severe" brain injuries after the incident in 2009.
Doherty's manager, Andrew Boyd, was jailed for a year at Ipswich Crown Court after admitting dangerous driving while at the wheel of the the singer's Daimler.
Doherty was also banned from driving for 12 months for allowing his car to be driven by an uninsured motorist.
On Monday (October 10), the High Court granted the Motor Insurers' Bureau (MIB) the chance to “chase” Doherty and Boyd to get their money back, reports BBC News.
The MIB also agreed to a damages settlement, which will see Corder and his family receive a five-figure sum every year to fund his care.
