Babyshambles frontman Pete Doherty was so upset at the news of the death of a fan recently that he came to the wake and played for his fan's friends.
16-year old Daniel Squires from South Tyneside died from bone cancer on July 4.
Doherty had met him backstage at one of his concerts.
Pete went to the funeral and then later to the pub where the wake took place. He joined Daniel's pals on stage and gave a musical tribute to his fan.
Pete's dad Mark told Hello Magazine that after they first met, Pete gave Daniel his mobile number and said he could call him whenever he wanted.
