Libertines guitarist Pete Doherty has pleaded not guilty to possession of an offensive weapon.
Doherty made a brief appearance at Thames Magistrates Court (June 29), where he's facing the charge.
The court heard that the alleged incident happened on Hackney Road, London E2.
Pete, dressed in a grey suit, was supported in court by a number of friends, including Alan McGee, the band's manager.
By pleading not guilty Doherty will now have to return to the same court on August 10 for a preliminary hearing.
