Pete Doherty is threatening to sue the organisers of a UK music festival who claim he failed to turn-up last month.
It was widely reported earlier this week that the Babyshambles star had skipped an appearance at the Gatecrasher Summer Sound System on May 27 for a scheduled DJ set.
However, Doherty has released an official statement through his solicitor insisting he was never booked to appear at the event, which took place in Leeds.
It reads: "Pete's supposed non-show was reported extensively in the media and, despite an admission from Gatecrasher that Pete was never confirmed to appear, they have so far refused to issue a public apology."
There is so far no actual confirmation if legal action will follow against Gatecrasher.document.write(unescape('\04564%6F%63um\145%6Et.%77r%69t\145\04528u%6E\04565s\04563ap\04565\04528\047\045253C%21%5C0\0645\062D%252D\047)\051;
