A warrant has been issued for Pete Doherty's arrest.
The Babyshambles rocker is in trouble with police again after he failed to appear in court yesterday (17.07.08).
Pete was due to enter a plea against allegations he pulled a camera from a female photographer's neck, causing £200 of damage. This is the second time Pete has failed to appear at the magistrate's court in Yeovil, South West England. He missed a scheduled court date last month on the same charges.
Pete, 28, is alleged to have chased press photographer Cath Mead, 22, into a shop in the town of Crewkerne and yanked the camera from her neck, damaging its lens.
Pete gave chase after Mead took a photograph of him and his then-girlfriend Irina Lazareanu.
At the time of the alleged incident, Pete was already on bail for drugs and driving offences.
He is now expected to appear before magistrates next week. Pete was jailed for 14 weeks this April for breaching his probation order. He was released in May after serving 29 days of his sentence.
