Pussycat Dolls claim their new album sounds like Coldplay.
The American girl group insist 'Doll Domination' crosses several different genres and sounds like Chris Martin's band in parts.
Band member Kimberly Wyatt said: "The new album is Pussycat Dolls to the next level. We worked with some really great producers - Rodney Jerkins, Sean Garrett, Cee-Lo Green and Timbaland.
"There are some really up-tempo, fun songs but there's also songs that show the sensitive and vulnerable sides of the Pussycat Dolls. We've messed around with a lot of genres and the sound is something different from what we've done before. I'd even say it's a bit like Coldplay! It's kind of got an indie-rock vibe."
Kimberly also revealed the band were left in awe when they recently recorded a track with newly-reformed boy band New Kids On The Block.
She added: "We were in rehearsal a couple of weeks ago and all of a sudden they showed up. We were in shock and didn't really know what to do. We were all like, 'Oh my God it's New Kids!' "
'Doll Domination' is set for release worldwide later this month.
