Queen Latifah says Dolly Parton is "[her] hero".
Latifah stars alongside the country music legend in new movie Joyful Noise, and has discussed her admiration for the blonde bombshell.
A musician herself, the 41-year-old joked that she was impressed by the singer's grace in her youth – not least because they are both very curvaceous.
"She is my hero in a lot of ways. She really inspired me growing up because we are both very, ahem, well endowed [in the chest area]… It was just the way she carried herself, with poise and laughter and humor and irreverence and extreme talent," she told ET Online.
Despite playing opposing characters in Joyful Noise who argue over how to win a national choir competition, the two women got on famously on the set of the movie.
Recalling the first time she met her idol, Latifah described how overawed she felt in Dolly's presence.
"She had this big old smile and this bad outfit. I was like, 'That is Dolly Parton!' Just like today, but there were more stones, there was more beading – there was more!" she exclaimed.
"I called everyone and said, "Guess who I just met'…"
