Welcome to the latest stop on Miley Cyrus's path to prove that she's a fully grown woman and ensure that she is never called Hannah Montana again. In her most recent endeavor, Cyrus is playing video star for the Rock Mafia song, "The Big Bang."
Video: Rock Mafia, "The Big Bang"
In the video, which was released yesterday (Nov. 1), a mysterious Cyrus tempts her pretty boy co-star Kevin Zegers, who chases her around the city. While Cyrus' provocative demeanor and wandering hands still make us want to scream, "You're only 17," the Rock Mafia deserves definite props for the video concept and catchy song.
Zegers follows his dream girl, intermittently spacing out to fantasies of them holding hands and strolling along the beach, but the dreams consistently come to an end with Cyrus' car being hit head on by an oncoming truck. Whenever Zegers gets to the car to save her, she's disappeared.
Finally she disappears from the pictures Zegers has imagined taking. We're left to wonder, was she ever there at all? Or perhaps she already died in a car crash and is haunting him from beyond the grave.
Again, we'd like to remind everyone that explicit fantasies about the Disney princess are still illegal in the majority of the United States. Cyrus won't be of legal age until next month. Can we at least try to pretend she's still young and innocent until then?
