The Boyzone star sparked rumours of a new romance after being spotted enjoying lunch with a pretty brunette in Sydney, where he is filming The X-Factor.
The father-of-three was seen laughing and chatting with the woman who, like him, was heavily tattooed, The Daily Telegraph reported.
But 33-year-old Keating's rep said the lady in question was simply Boyzone's long-time stylist and dancer Shelina Gallacher, 32, and that it was not a romantic date.
'Just friends and work colleagues,' said a spokesman.
Keating's 12-year marriage fell apart earlier this year amid allegations that he had an affair with a blonde dancer.
