Ronan Keating lands first movie role

The Boyzone heartthrob is jetting off to Australia next month to begin work on the movie.

The plot revolves around a woman called Elspeth Dickens, who lives in an isolated farm in the Outback with her two toddlers.

She makes contact with the wider world via her webcam, finding fame and fortune. But those riches come at a price.

Keating’s co-star will be Laura Michelle Kelly, who has appeared in London’s West End.

Richard Keddie, producer of the movie, said: “We are pretty thrilled to have him on board.'

Keating, in a phone interview with Sydney radio station 2DayFm, said: “I’ve very excited.”
