Russell Brand says he is scared of wife Katy Perry

Amid rumours that his new marriage is on the rocks already, Brand snuggled close to the 81-year-old, put his arm around her and stroked her hand.

The Forgetting Sarah Marshall star, 35, went on to admit that he is 'scared' of his new bride, pop singer Katy Perry and said of his home life: 'I'm like a butler now. I think it's because I'm English she thinks I'm a butler.'

Ex-alcoholic and drug addict Brand continued: 'My life used to be about chaos, glass, blood, madness but now it's 'go and get that fridge',' he said.

'That's after five months. How am I going to be a decade down the road?' he added. 'I'll be like a servant man, polishing windows and gardening.'

Brand has just been named Cosmopolitan magazine's Fun and Fearless Man of the Year.

But when host Barbara asked: “There must be something you are afraid of darling, what are you afraid of?” the curly-haired comic replied as he nudged closer to the TV host: “My wife, death and you sometimes.”
