Sacha Baron Cohen has been banned from attending this year's Oscars, it has been reported.
The actor stars in Martin Scorcese's latest movie Hugo, playing Station Inspector Gustave.
Organisers of the ceremony have raised concerns over Cohen's planned antics at Sunday’s (February 26) 84th Academy Awards, reports Deadline.
It was reported earlier this week that the actor, who is currently working on his new movie The Dictator, would arrive at the ceremony in full character.
Meanwhile, The Queen biopic starring Sacha Baron Cohen will be called Mercury.
The Bruno star had been confirmed to play frontman Freddie Mercury, but the title of the film had been the subject of much debate.
It is believed that the film will focus on Mercury's often strained relationship with bandmates Brian May, Roger Taylor and John Deacon, with the movie believed to climax with a recreation of Queen's seminal 1985 performance at Live Aid
