Santogold is going to appear on Jay-Z's upcoming single 'Brooklyn Go Hard', produced by Kanye West.
'Brooklyn Go Hard' is a song based around a sample from Santogold's 'Shove It', and as a last minute addition, Santo herself will do a verse.
"I was so excited when Jay sent me the beat," she said in a statement. "I think Kanye killed it! Kanye's so passionate about his work and you can hear it in the music. His beats are very emotional. This track sounds so dark and epic. I love working with Jay because he's really funny and makes fun of me the whole time, and doesn't put up with my procrastinating bullshit. They've both got a great work ethic that I really respect."
The track will appear exclusively on the soundtrack to Notorious, which will be released next year through Bad Boy Records / Atlantic.
