Sesame Street's YouTube channel has had to be taken offline after hackers uploaded a number of pornographic videos to the site.
Within 20 minutes of the hack the US children's show's site, which numbers 140,000 suscribers, was taken offline, BBC News reports.
Although the hack has been attributed to a user called Mredxwx, the member who uses that name has denied any involvement.
A web security blogger, Graham Cluley, took a number of screenshots at the time, including one which showed a message that read: "Im Mredxwx and my partner Mrsuicider91 are here to bring you many nice content! Please don't let Sesame Street to get this account back kids."
Google have confirmed that the matter has been dealt with, issuing a statement reading: "YouTube's Community Guidelines prohibit graphic content. As always, we remove inappropriate material as soon as we are made aware of it."
In May 2010, hundreds of videos that mixed adult content with videos of artists such as the Jonas Brothers and Miley Cyrus were removed from the site.
