Fresh from releasing her debut album Dream of You, Sharon Corr is set to take to the stage of the Royal Albert Hall to perform with legendary guitarist Jeff Beck.
The Irish singer and violinist will join the former Yardbird at his concerts on 26th and 27th October to perform the track Mná na hÉireann. The duet, which translates as Women of Ireland, features on Corr's debut album and came about after the two met at one of Jeff Beck's concerts.
Sharon says: ' am delighted to be teaming up with the Jeff once again. We had such an amazing time working together so I am extremely thankful for the invitation to join him on stage at such an incredible venue.'
Sharon Corr first found mainstream success in the 90s with her band The Corrs. The act racked up a string of number one singles and albums and sold out stadiums across the globe as well as winning the coveted Best International Act at the BRIT Awards.
Dream of You is Sharon Corr's debut album following the hiatus of The Corrs. The album features fuses traditional Irish folk with melodic pop and features Sharon's distinctive vocal and beautiful violin artistry. The album features the single Everybody's Got to Learn Sometime.
