Stacey Solomon has been announced as the headline artist to lead a children's choir of 110,000 (approx 7,000 children each night) strong primary school children as part of the Young Voices 2014 tour.
The Young Voices 17 date arena tour will start at Birmingham LG Arena on the 14th January 2014 and close on the 5th February 2014 at Manchester Arena. Stacey Solomon rose to fame in The X Factor 2009 and went on to gain number singles in both the UK and Irish Singles chart with her fellow finalists with a cover of "You Are Not Alone". Stacey said " I am so excited to be involved in Young Voices, the moment I found out about the tour I knew I had to do it, I can't wait to sing along with all the children and feel the energy of a choir that size."
Young Voices (2013 National Business Awards finalist) is designed to unify children from across the region, boost their confidence and provide lifelong memories for them and their families. Teachers & Pupils practice the dance routines and learn the songs in their music lessons for many months before they excitedly come together for the penultimate show at their local arena.
Young Voices is the world's largest children's choir and has a long standing history spanning 17 years. Their spectacular tours have featured an impressive array of top talent including Katherine Jenkins, Alexandra Burke, Beverley Knight, Dionne Bromfield, The High Kings, Joss Stone, Des'ree, Connie Talbot and many other established acts. This national event covers London, Manchester, Birmingham and Sheffield, giving the opportunity to over 110,000 children all over the UK to participate and enjoy the experience of singing. www.youngvoices.co.uk
