It's 'Les Paul birthday week' (June 6-13) and legendary, über-awesome axe-slinger Steve Conte (of Steve Conte & The Crazy Truth and Michael Monroe Band) will play a one-off gig together with the Les Paul Trio at:
The Iridium Jazz Club, 51 and Broadway, NYC on
Sunday, June 12 @ 8:00 PM & 10:00PM - $30.00
Says Steve:
'Hey all! I'm really honored that I was asked by Gibson & The Iridium to do this show. When I played with Les back in 2005 it was one of the highlights of my musical life!
It's a pricey ticket but it is my ONLY gig in NYC this summer (maybe this year) and a rare chance to see me w/ the legendary Les Paul Trio @ The Iridium to celebrate Les's Birthday Week. I'll be playing some old tunes you've never heard me do...more in a classic blues/jazz setting.'
