Several artists can today be confirmed for the End of the Road Festival 2009. Steve Earle, the 'hardcore troubador', writer and activist, also known for his role as Bubbles' mentor in cult TV show The Wire, will be appearing at the three-day event for the first time, and he'll be joined by artists such as crazed, crash-helmeted one man band Bob Log III, award-winning psych-folker Alela Diane and post-pop electro-Danes Efterklang.
These are the first shoots of the lineup - the uniquely curatorial booking policy continues. There will be more announcements in the coming weeks.
