Suge Knight has been rushed to hospital after a panic attack following his not guilty plea.
The co-founder of Death Row Records entered the petition against charges of murder, attempted murder and other accusations after he allegedly struck two men with his vehicle last week. While actor Cle "Bone" Sloan survived the incident, his friend Terry Carter was killed.
But after returning to a lock up area next to the courtroom following the hearing, TMZ reports that the 49-year-old began experiencing chest pains. An ambulance was sent to collect Knight however it's believed the problems weren't caused by his heart but by his nerves.
As well as the murder charge for Terry and the attempted murder charge for Bone, Knight also faces hit-and-run resulting in death and hit-and-run resulting in injury charges following the incident that occurred in Compton, California on Thursday.
In addition, Knight's $2 million bail was revoked after a court commissioner agreed with authorities that he was a potential flight risk and could intimidate witnesses.
According to police reports, Knight "aimed his car" at nemesis Bone, 55, and accidentally ran over his friend Terry in the process.
The former rap mogul fled the scene but after his arrest on Friday he claimed he only did so because he was "confused" and didn't realise anyone had been injured.
If he is found guilty of murder, he will receive a life sentence. However he is no stranger to being behind bars, having spent nearly five years in prison badly beating a rival with Tupac Shakur at a Las Vegas hotel, just hours before the musician was fatally shot while riding in Knight's car just east of the Strip in 1996.
